We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to show our donor families your love as they navigate the grief of losing a loved one. Below you will find additional information about the program. How are the blankets used? LifeShare Carolinas provides a blanket, quilt, or shawl to the family of every organ donor. Our team supports families in the hospital throughout the donation process. The blanket can serve as a source of comfort during those days and the days after. Some families display the blanket at the memorial service. Others display it at home as a meaningful reminder of their loved ones and their selfless gift of life.
